Totem, enamel, British Railways Midland Region, F/F RAINFORD JUNCTION. The white on this has been repainted over, and around the edges of the letters touched in with red, and the totem varnished. The rear has been covered with fibreglass. We suspect this is a Bruton made example, where they typically retain a good colour, but suffer from loss of white and black enamel, hence the rusty rear has been covered over. Removal of all of this, and a repaint of the white, could result in a good looking totem. Please note, this is a different totem to the one we previously sold. 36 x 10 inches. Shipping band - E. |
