Cabside, Southern Railway 2042. This is from ex London Brighton and South Coast Railway, Billington B4 4-4-0 built at Brighton in June 1902 and originally named His Majesty. Numbered SR 42, and subsequently 2042 around 1931. Allocated to Eastbourne and withdrawn from there and scrapped in April 1947, so this plate is a great survivor.
